"At 9:00 AM, the doctors from Prabha Eye Clinic and the cardiology team arrived at our college campus. They were warmly welcomed and served breakfast as a token of appreciation. The health camp commenced at 9:30 AM with two separate check-up sites arranged for the convenience of participants. The eye check-up was conducted in a medical van stationed near the PU Block, while the heart check-up was organized in the Old Block, 1st Floor, Room No. 101.The camp was open to both students, teaching and non-teaching staff. A large number of participants registered and actively took part in the health screening"

"The CPR training program, organized by the Rotary Club, provided volunteers with essential knowledge and practical skills to save lives during cardiac emergencies. The session began with a theoretical overview, teaching how to identify cardiac arrest and differentiate it from a heart attack. Volunteers learned the key DOs and DON?Ts of CPR and the importance of administering it only to cardiac arrest victims. Following the theory, they practiced CPR hands-on using training manikins, simulating real-life scenarios. "

"The event took place at Vajarahalli Government School on 28th September from 10 am to 12 pm and was organized by i-volunteers. About 40 enthusiastic students from our college participated, bringing energy and creativity to the celebration. The day began with a brief introduction about the importance of an eco-friendly Deepavali, emphasizing sustainable practices and reducing pollution. Participants then showcased their artistic skills by painting and decorating diyas using vibrant colors and innovative designs. These beautifully crafted diyas were later donated to NGOs, orphanages, and old age homes, spreading happiness and a sense of community. The event also fostered teamwork and social responsibility, as students collaborated in decorating, arranging, and distributing the diyas. "

"The day began with a clean-up drive where students picked up plastic waste in and around HSR Layout, spreading the message of ?Say No to Plastic? to the community. Following this, the group visited a recycling station, where they were educated about the methods and benefits of recycling and organic farming. Later, the team proceeded to Swacha Graha Kalika Kendra, where we learned about the importance of waste management, segregation of waste, and also attended an insightful session on menstrual health and the use of menstrual cups. The program was highly informative and impactful, helping participants understand their role in promoting environmental cleanliness and sustainability"

"The AI Prompt Engineering training was organized under the NSS Wing of KSIT on 25th September 2025 with the objective of introducing students and volunteers to one of the most emerging skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence. The session was conducted by Mr. Achutha Prakash and Ms. Chaithra Siddegowda, who served as the external resource persons for the event. Around 68 NSS volunteers and students from KSIT, including members of Yuvaka Sangha, took part actively and showed keen interest in learning about the topic. The speakers provided an overview of what prompt engineering is, how it works, and why it is becoming an essential skill for students in various disciplines. They also shared their professional experiences and demonstrated how AI tools can be effectively used for content creation, learning, and problem-solving"

The primary aim of the campaign was to create awareness among students and staff about the adverse effects of plastic usage and to encourage the adoption of sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives in daily life. An experienced resource person was invited to lead an insightful training session, which highlighted the urgent need to minimize single-use plastics and offered practical guidance on replacing them with environment-friendly options. The interactive session not only deepened participants? understanding of the environmental hazards of plastic but also emphasized the role of youth in promoting sustainable practices within their communities. "On 18th May 2025, all NSS volunteers gathered at the K.S. Institute of Technology campus by 8:30 AM. The bus departed punctually at 10:30 AM, and we reached Malligemetlu village in Maralawadi Hobli, Kanakapura Taluk, Ramanagara District by around 12:30 PM. The male volunteers were accommodated at the Government High School in Malligemetlu, while the female volunteers were provided lodging at the residence of an NSS volunteer. Soon after our arrival, everyone actively took part in organizing and setting up arrangements for the inaugural event, reflecting a strong spirit of cooperation and dedication."

On this occasion of 77th Independence Day, 15th August 2023 NSS Unit of KSIT took an initiative in preparing the event. President SRI. R. In the morning 7:45AM every one assembled in the quadrangle. All arrangements for flag hoisting was made by NSS committee. President hoisted our national flag followed by everyone sung the national anthem.NSS volunteers performed cultural events and make the program wonderful. President, secretary, Treasurer, CEO and Principal of KSIT delivered few words on the occasion. After which breakfast was arranged to all staff, students and Management. "

"Human blood is an essential element of human life with no substitute. With the motto ?Drop a blood now, for those who need it later?, NSS wing of KSIT under the umbrella of National Service Scheme(NSS) organized ?Blood Donation Camp? on 08/07/2023 in association with Rotary Club of Bangalore Vidyapeeta and Indian Red Cross Society at KSIT new building, 5th floor. The camp was inaugurated with a motivating session by the experts and senior doctors to make students aware about the importance of this best practice. Prior to donation, the donor Students will be screened to identify their quality of blood to be collected. The underweight and the infected persons will not be allowed to provide donations as the medical advice. Donors will be informed that by each donation their blood cells will be rejuvenated and hence youthfulness in the blood will be present on every occasion. "

"All the NSS volunteers gathered at K S Institute of Technology Campus by 6:00pm on 21/06/2023 and the bus departed by 6.30pm. We reached Kemmale, Sathanur Hobli, Kanakapura Taluk, Ramanagara district around 08.15pm. All the boys were accommodated at Allotted house at village and the girls stayed at Samudhaya Bhavana. Later we made some arrangements for the inaugural function and then wehad dinner by 10:00pm. The day was winded up with some plans for the next dayand we slept around 11:00pm. Next day morning we woke up at 4:30am and all the NSS volunteers gathered near Samudhaya Bhavan yard and everyone went for a walk and collected some flowers &required things to prepare bouquets for the guests and again everyone gathered near samudhaya bhavan to clean the surrounding and to make the stage arrangements for the inaugural function. The chief guests for the program were R Rajgopal Naidu (President of Kammavari Sangham), Dileep Kumar (Principal of KSIT), Shri H K Shrikanta (RES President, Kanakapura), Manju (Gram panchayat president of Kemmale), Shivamari Gowda (Gram panchayat member of Kemmale), K J Vijay Kumar (VSSN Honaganahalli President), Lakkappa (Kemmale High school Headmaster), Krishnegowda (Sharadha Convent, treasurer), Manu.M(Congress Leader), L akshmakka (Anganawadi of kemmale), Anitha (Kemmale School Teacher). We welcomed our chief guests through Dollu Kunitha ."

"NSS wing of KSIT under the umbrella of National Service Scheme (NSS) organized an event on ?FIRE EXTINGUISHER TRAINING PROGRAM? on 12th September 2023 at Quadrangle, KSIT, Bangalore. The Program was inaugurated by welcoming Principal, HOD?s of all department, Students and NSS volunteers. The safest way to deal with fire is to prevent it. The training program on Fire safety puts forth a set of practices and procedures to minimize the destruction caused by fire hazards. The skill & knowledge acquired through the Fire safety training program will equip the learners to combat fire in any unanticipated fire breakout. It will also enable the delegates to recognize workplace fire hazards and ensure adequate control measures. "

"The warm morning started off with a patriotic introduction on republic day followed by our principal addressing the gathering. After this the Pooja and flag hoisting was done. The national anthem was sung. Our president and principal shared their thoughts on republic day. Naada geethe was sung by NSS unit followed by vote of thanks. After the celebrations of republic day the management committee members inaugurated the new NSS cell. After the opening of the NSS cell breakfast was provided to everyone. "

"The LEAD-leadership for empowerment , advocacy and development , members visited to our college to give us a brief thought of voting. First Manjunath sir gave us an idea of why we are supposed to vote and the uses of voting. Then he gave a brief speech on the importance of voting the power and responsibilities of choosing a good leader for our society. And then he told us about the drawbacks and regrets of not selecting a good leader. Then he asked his team to guide the NSS volunteers of applying the voter ID through our phones. After successfully completing the process we the NSS voulnteers and ELC club members took the initiative of guiding our fellow students to fill in the voter ID. We conducted the drive for one week in college to help the students to fill the voter ID. "

"Constitution day is celebrated in our college every year but this year we also celebrated the festival of democracy. This year it was organized by the LEAD team and NSS unit of our college to our first year students . We did this inauguration program in conference hall by welcoming all the dignitaries to the stage. A brief introduction was given about all the LEAD team members who were present there. Then one the LEAD member gave us a brief importance of why we are celebrating this day. Then at last we took the pledge of The Preamble of India. "
